Cancellation Policy

At Expensivemart, we understand that plans can change. This policy explains when and how an order can be cancelled.

1. Cancellation Before Dispatch

You may request cancellation only before your order is dispatched from our warehouse.

To request cancellation:

  • Always share your order number for quick action

If the order has not been packed or shipped, it will be cancelled and a full refund will be initiated.

Refunds for prepaid orders are started within 1–2 working days to the original payment method.

Requests sent through Instagram, Facebook, or other social platforms are not accepted for cancellation.

2. Cancellation After Dispatch

Once an order is shipped, cancellation is not allowed.

If you still do not want the product after dispatch, please accept the delivery and raise a return request as per our Refund & Return Policy. Approval depends on eligibility conditions.

3. Cash on Delivery (COD) Order Cancellation

  • COD orders require confirmation before dispatch

  • Unconfirmed COD orders may be cancelled automatically

  • Repeated COD cancellations may result in COD being disabled for future orders

4. Prepaid Order Refunds

For prepaid orders cancelled before dispatch:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment source

  • Amount usually reflects within 3–7 business days, based on bank or payment provider timelines

5. Seller-Initiated Cancellation

Expensivemart may cancel an order in cases such as:

  • Product unavailability

  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery address

  • Order flagged for verification or risk reasons

In such cases, customers will be informed and a full refund will be issued if payment was already made.
